M25 closure: Aerial pictures show calm before expected chaos as section of motorway shutting for weekend | UK News

Aerial photos of the M25 display relative tranquility on Friday night time, forward of an “unprecedented” weekend closure of a category of Britain’s busiest toll road.

Drivers are being warned of immense delays when the M25 shuts in each instructions on a five-mile stretch between junctions 10 and 11 in Surrey this weekend.

The closure starts at 9pm on Friday, with the toll road eager to reopen at 6am on Monday 18 March.

From junction 10 to 11, a peace path is in park with automobiles being instructed to advance northbound A3 to Painshill Junction, at the A245 against Woking, and upcoming at the A320 to M25 junction 11.

Within the alternative course, automobiles are being instructed to proceed at the A320 south against Woking, at the A245 against Byfleet and Painshill junction, and upcoming southbound at the A3 to junction 10.

Drivers are being advised to forget about satnavs and most effective apply reputable peace routes to oppose inflicting gridlock throughout an “unprecedented” closure.
